ORPR 2024 Assistant Director and Counselor Leadership Application

In addition to completing a Camper Application - the following form is to be completed by ALL applicants desiring to serve in a leadership position for the 2024 ORPR Camp session.  BOTH FORMS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY APRIL 15, 2024, for processing. ONLY APPLICATIONS COMPLETED IN FULL WILL BE CONSIDERED. Thank you for your willingness to serve!

Requirements/Benefits:

Assistant Director (Pod Nachal'nik)
Requirements:

‣ Assist the Nachal'nik in the day-to-day operations of the camp.
‣ Assist the Nachal'nik and Program Director in monitoring counselors performance in activities, and use constructive feedback to help them develop.
‣ Assist counselors in preparing daily activities and events.
‣ Must be 21 years of age
‣ Must have had previous leadership experience at camp (cabin leader or Nachal'stvo)

Benefits:

‣ Stipend of $400/week 

Counselor (Nachal'stvo)
Requirements:

‣ Attend all 4 weeks of camp (July 6th - August 3rd). Consideration will be given to those who cannot attend all 4 weeks on a case-by-case basis.
‣ Attend Leadership Training (July 3rd - July 6th).
‣ Must stay and help close camp through at least 5 pm August 3rd. Those staying through August 4th will receive an additional stipend. 
‣ Must be 17 years of age.
‣ Must have your 3rd Razryad (Blue)
‣ Must have had previous leadership experience at camp (cabin leader or Nachal'stvo)
‣ Assist in the direction, supervision, and organization of campers within activities and throughout the camp.
‣ Be aware of and implement all safety guidelines and procedures within camp activities and cabin sleeping arrangements.
‣ Participate in the development and implementation of program activities for campers.
‣ Maintain high standards for health and mental health in all activities for campers
‣ Maintain high standards of safety in all activities for campers and staff.
‣ Be a role model to campers and staff in your attitude and behavior.

‣ Stipend of $1200/month for returning counselors
‣ Stipend of $1500/month for head of camp
