Current ORPR Camp fundraising activities:

Boys Bathroom/Laundry Facilities are currently under construction! It was announced in February 2006 that construction on the new Boys Bathroom/Laundry Facilities would start in early May 2006. We are pleased to announce that the foundation, sub-floor plumbing, septic tank, and underground well are installed and complete! Now, the daunting task of finishing the structure prior to camp starting is ahead of us.

Total cost of the project is $52,000, with the foundation, plumbing, septic, well and powerlines accounting for $30,000 of the project. The frame, walls, siding, roof and interior plumbing and fixtures make up the remaining $22,000 of the project. To date, we have raised $15,000. Another $37,000 must be raised! • Tools - Circular saw, Jigsaw, Reciprocating saw, hammers (4), screwdriver sets (2), socket set, wrench sets (std/metric) and Cordless Drills (2) 
• Copy paper / pens / pencils / notebooks 
• Soccer Goals - Camp is building two portable, full size, soccer goals for the "Back-40". Total cost to fabricate these goals is $400. Used goals from schools or parks will work also. 

ORPR Camp Arch - The beloved archway that welcomes all in to ORPR Camp is rotting and the base has become unstable. The Building Committee is currently finalizing the arch remodeling plans. Estimated cost for this project is $10,000. We are currently looking for former campers to "sponsor" this rebuild of the arch. A plaque commemorating your donations will be placed on the arch.

Previous ORPR Camp fundraising activities:

2006 St. Tatiana's Day Ball a HUGE success!  Thank you to all who came out and supported ORPR Camp's annual fundraiser.  The evening started with a cocktail hour featuring homemade "piroshki" (made with love by ORPR Campers, their parents and grandparents and friends of ORPR Camp) continued with dinner and dancing and ended with a raffle that netted close to $2500!  Pictures from the event will be posted to the website soon!

Year-Round Camper Activities - ORPR Campers organized more than six social events this past year, all with the goal of raising money for ORPR Camp. Some get-togethers included a day at Six Flags-Great America, Paintballing, Comedy Shows, and Ice Skating on Michigan Ave. More events are on the way, keep an eye out for the next one and we’ll look forward to seeing there!
